Tom concentrates his practice in contested estates and trusts, fiduciary risk management, and estate tax and gift tax controversies. He represents corporate and individual trustees.
Tom graduated from Boston College in 1989 with a B.A. in History. Tom earned his J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago in 1992 and his L.L.M. in Taxation from DePaul University in 2000.
Tom is licensed to practice law in Illinois, Florida, Wisconsin, and Ohio, and has been admitted to practice before the United States District Court of the Northern District of Illinois.
Tom is a member of the Chicago Bar Association Probate Committee, Trust Committee and Federal Tax Committee. Tom is a frequent speaker on Estate Planning and Administration.
Tom is married to his wife, Jennifer. They have four children, Catherine, Jeremiah, Sean, and Griffin.
